SatisfactoryAfter renting your Satisfactory server on Nitroserv, you can connect by following these few steps.
Start by installing it with the installation button.
Once the server is installed, a new interface is available to you.
On this, you will find the IP and port of your server on the left:
A "Start" button to launch the server and a "Trash" button to uninstall the server (delete all data).
On the right of the interface you will find 2 pieces of information:
1 - The game version: Satisfactory corresponding to the normal version of the game and Satisfactory - Experimental corresponding to the beta version of the game
2 - Quick FTP account creation
In the middle, you will find the console displaying the server logs.
First, you need to start the server by pressing the Start button, you will see the console fill up with the server logs.
The server will then have 3 possible states:
1 - Green: the server is started and online
2 - Yellow: the server is starting
3 - Red: the server is stopped
Once your server is started, you can launch the game and go to the "Server Management" menu
Once in the menu, click on the "Add a server" button:
The game will ask you for 2 pieces of information:
1 - Address: which corresponds to the server's IP
2 - Port: which corresponds to your server's port
In our example, the address is: 109.239.156.57
The port is: 16880
After pressing the "Confirm" button, a new window asking to accept a certificate will open, you also click on the "Confirm" button
You then need to "Claim the server", this step allows you to give it a name.
It may be that the field to enter a name is hidden as in the screenshot above.
You just need to click on the small gray box and write the name you want to give it.
You will then need to create an admin password to manage the server, for example to load saves, modify world settings, etc.
The next step is to create a game. Go to the "Create a game" tab, choose your map, give it a name, and you are ready to start your game.
The creation of the map may take some time, a loading bar is displayed to indicate the progress of your map creation.
Your server is ready for use, you just need to play. Your friends can connect to the server in the same way.
