How to Become an Administrator on My 7 Days to Die Server

Easily manage your server administrators via the serveradmin.xml file, directly editable from your hosting panel.

1 – Find the Steam ID

You need the player's SteamID64 to add.

Use: https://steamid.io

2 – Edit the serveradmin.xml file

• Go to your panel.

• Open the Configuration tab.

• Click on serveradmin.xml to edit it.

3 – Add an Administrator

Insert a line in the tag, as shown below:

Explanation of fields:

Field                                          Description

platform                                 Must be "Steam"

userid                                     SteamID64 of the player

name                                      (Optional) Name for your reference

permission_level                    Level of rights (see table below)

🛑 The higher the number, the fewer permissions the user has.

4 – Save and Restart the Server

• Click on Save in the panel.

• Then restart the server to apply the changes.
